Mood Ring - 16oz - Mayco Stoneware

Stoneware glazes from Mayco are simply gorgeous! These glazes fire to cone 6 and are rated to cone 10. Stoneware classic glazes offer depth, sophistication, and reliability to artists working from mid-range to high-fire temperatures. Many glazes will break over textures, revealing secondary colors and shades. Used alone, stoneware glazes produce beautiful color variations. One coat will allow the clay body to show through the glaze and two to three coats deeper the color. The choice of clay body, thickness of glaze application, firing process, and temperature will affect the fired finish.

This glaze is not dinnerware safe.

Cone 6: Mood Ring is a glossy, opaque dark green glaze that breaks brown over texture and has an iridescent sheen. Semi-fluid at 3 coats.
Cone 10: Mood Ring darkens. Heavier reduction may produce surface texture.
